Short but quite lovely.

Pros: Loved the setting and the ease of check-in. The house is well appointed with everything set out immaculately. We appreciated the small welcome package. The view into with Disa and Leopard's Kloof, almost rudely right in front of your face, was spectacular and when the lights were down, with so little surrounding light, the sky came alive with stars. Although close to the main road, with the mountains and bush all around, it feels as if you are miles away. We would definitely return for a longer stay.

Cons: Only small inconveniences, we really had no complaints. No proper braai facility - although we successfully braaied a kabeljou on the fire pit - it is not well protected from the gusts that blew and we had to duck bursts of sparks as we sat around it. It would be fantastic if the outside seating area had shade - a cover or a stoep umbrella - and was better cared for. It is such an incredible setting and it needs a comfortable outside area. There was only a small dustbin in the kitchen. It would have been helpful to have a large bin outside the kitchen door. I say this understanding that baboons are a concern.
