Pros: Nice room in a quiet neighbourhood. Perfect for a short stay after a function. Secure off-street parking. Comfortable bed, large bathroom, full-length mirror which is very handy! Rusks and tea/coffee/milk nice touch for quick breakfast snack. Easy check-in and check-out procedure. They allowed my request for early check-in.

Weekend away at Glennies

Pros: Air conditioner was great Bed very comfortable and linen was good quality. Peaceful and quiet location.

Cons: The Nespresso machine was not in oir room as advertised.

Comfortable rooms, great location, and lovely atmosphere – we’d happily return

Pros: The location is safe, and the room is beautiful, modern, and wonderfully tranquil, with stunning views of both the sea and the mountains. The surrounding area is equally lovely, with birds chirping and the gentle scent of flowers carried on the breeze. The room comes with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and secure parking, and the bed is incredibly comfortable – in fact, it was the most comfortable bed we experienced during our entire Western Cape trip, even surpassing some luxury accommodations. Overall, this stay offered excellent value for money.

Cons: I always like to introduce myself to guesthouse hosts, so I felt a bit sad that we didn’t get the chance. I completely understand that our early check-in request was inconvenient, especially while the host was unwell. Despite this, we truly loved the accommodation and our experience, and we would very much like to return someday. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place as a safe, peaceful, and centrally located stay.
