Picardie Guest Farm

Highly recommended. Friendly. Clean. Great breakfast.

Pros: Very welcoming hosts and friendly staff. Breakfast was homely and delicious, loved it.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. Maybe aircons in the bedrooms would be nice but the fans suffice.

Pros: Picardie guest farm is located near restaurants and wine farms. It’s a beautiful place with a dam and a swimming pool. Everyone goes out of their way to make your stay a wonderful experience. The friendliest and most professional people I’ve ever encountered! Our room was nice with comfortable beds and a balcony overlooking the pond. As it wasn’t really hot, we didn’t need the air conditioner. A charming place!

Cons: The one thing that made my stay a bit uncomfortable was the smell in our room. The lady at the reception was honest enough to admit that it could have something to do with the age of the building. I really appreciated her honesty! That said, I couldn’t find any other reviews mentioning this problem and I do admit to having a very keen sense of smell. My husband said in the morning that the smell was gone, but not for me ….

Enjoyed the stay. The tranquility was exceptional.

Pros: The location was perfect. Was there for a work meeting and it was perfectly suited for the occassion.

Pros: We enjoyed the comfortable rooms on this beautiful working farm. The rooms and breakfast are next to a large dam surrounded by huge trees. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of cereals, fresh bread and a cooked breakfast.

Overall experience one of calm relaxation.

Pros: Breakfast was superb, the road to Picardie can be tricky, especially arriving there in the dark.

Cons: Lack of place to hang clothes.

Pros: It’s a great scenery for a family or couple to relax.

Cons: It didn’t feel safe for a woman with a girl child having neighbours that are men and far from exit and entrance.

Pros: This is a lovely peaceful location - you feel miles from anywhere, while actually just a few minutes from all of Paarl's shops and restaurants.

Cons: The cooking rings aren't actually hot enough to boil a pan of water. This didn't affect our stay, just meant we had to get a bit creative cooking meals!

Pure bliss

Pros: I love our stays at Picardie! Lana and her team go above and beyond to make your stay as memorable and comfortable as possible. Their main focus is on their guests' experience, and every interaction is sincere and genuine. We love returning to Picardie as you feel welcome and appreciated. An unforgettable stay is about attention to detail and the guest's experience, not only offering clean and comfortable facilities. I love the location, away from the noise, in nature, a tranquil paradise where time stands still for a moment. Pure bliss! Many happy returns await

Pure Bliss

Pros: Picardie Guest farm was pure bliss for our family. Relaxing and beautiful. The children enjoyed all the activities swimming in the beautiful pool and lake, the swings and paddle boat. The breakfast was delicious and views breathtaking.

Cons: That we had to leave. 😊
