A lovely, well priced weekend away with a nice braai area. Great for a quick getaway from Cape Town!

Pros: I loved the little estate it was in and that we could walk out to the beach and do sundowners or to the pool for a swim. The log cabin gave it a very relaxed holiday feel. We felt quite safe and it was lovey.

Cons: The place isn’t 3 bedroomed. It is 2 bedroomed, with a sleeper couch on the landing of the stairs and a sleeper couch in the lounge. The sleeper couch in the lounge could realistically only sleep a child. We also had to request linen for sleeper couches.

A Gem - Beautiful, Tranquil and Peaceful Getaway

Pros: Beautiful location. Cabin was amazing. It was very, very hot and no aircons - but when we enquired, we were provided with a lovely fan the next day. Host was very accommodating and even provided 2 pin plugs that we needed as one room light wasn't working. Beds were large and comfortable. Spacious bathrooms, although one is downstairs. The cabin has everything that you could need for a comfortable stay.

Cons: I wouldn't call it a beachfront property. The beach is quite a distance away, although walking distance - tried to walk there but turned around because of the distance. The lagoon is much closer than the beach - about 200m, so we walked there. No restaurants or shops at the location, so stock up before hand.

A hidden gem in Fisherhaven — peaceful lagoon views, birdsong, great amenities, and endless fun.

Pros: This little cabin is a true gem tucked away in Fisherhaven. Surrounded by natural beauty, with the lagoon on one side and the cheerful sounds of birdsong all around, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. There’s a charming local store with everything you might need, and the amenities are fantastic. Our kids especially loved spending time at the playground and in the pools — such a wonderful family-friendly escape.

Cons: We really loved the holiday home.
