Ane & Carlos were great hosts and Calais Guest House was simply stunning! ❤️

Pros: Calais Guest House had the real wow factor the moment i entered the property. It is stunning and I thoroughly enjoyed my seven nights stay there. Ane, Carlos and their team were so helpful and friendly throughout. Breakfast was delicious, served weather permitting on the outside balcony with lovely views of nearby mountains. I would definitely stay at Calais Guest House again!

Cons: There was nothing to dislike about Calais Guest House.

Great place to stay in Franschhoek

Pros: Lovely guest house, beautiful spaces but very relaxed vibe. Felt very chill and secure; on the edge of the town centre - maybe 15 minute walk to the Main Street. Excellent breakfast, and friendly helpful staff. Would stay here again.

Bastille getaway!

Pros: I loved that breakfast was included and it had quite a lot of seating areas... very luxurious, but homely!

Cons: The fact that we couldn't connect to wifi and it wasn't a smart television. Pity our room didn't have a bath. Would have loved it to be a bit closer to the town.

Very, very classy and inspired property with excellent service and facilities. Would definitely stay

Pros: The room was spacious and well kitted out. Water was hot, sheets were crisp and the bed was very comfortable. The situation and the gardens and layout of the property was very classy. We had a full breakfast with cereal and muesli to start and a cooked breakfast, cooked by the lady.

Cons: The weather. It would have been lovely to sit in the garden, but there was a very spacious lounge area inside.

Pros: Had a wonderful stay at the Calais GH. Ane and her team were very attentive and made us feel very welcomed. The room was spacious and well equipped. I will definitely be back!
