The best location and setting for a visit to Cape Town

Pros: I like the location, the safety around the neighbourhood. The staff and the owner with their warm welcome and professionalism. I liked the setting of the property , it felt like staying at a hotel just homely. I would definitely return with the family and highly recommend to all.

Cons: Nothing stands out. It all felt right and welcoming.

Lovely place

Pros: The Vista are very friendly and they make an awsome breakfast. Small pool where you can relax. Différent Little corners in the garden to sit en enjoy.

Pros: Lodge is located in great, safe, quiet and peaceful area and we could Uber to anywhere in Cape Town easily. The hosts Cami and Sue are really friendly and welcoming and they made us feel at home. They serve freshly made breakfast daily and on the days that they don't they prepared packed breakfast for us which was a plus. I suggest making variety of dishes for breakfast though on different days. The rooms have AC and are spacious enough with enough wardrobes and they provide everything needed to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are cleaned daily apart from Xmas day which is understandable. The pool is small, cozy and clean. The kids enjoyed swimming in it. We enjoyed our stay generally in this place and would come back again.

Cons: We were charged an extra R300 for checking in after 10pm which is something I have never experienced in any hotel or Airbnb in the world. I thought it was unfair to charge us extra just because our flight landed late at night yet we had fully paid. Had this aspect been mentioned in the description in booking.com or website we would have been prepared for the extra charges but it's not mentioned. I suggest clearly stating this aspect in the description to avoid surprise charges

Definitely Returning!

Pros: Cami, Rory and Sue were all superb. Very helpful in terms of recommendations and advice, and really welcoming. The facilities (that we used) were all great and it felt like a home away from home. We didn't use the pool etc so cannot comment, but the room, the amenities within the room, and the courtyard were all well kept. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and the location was fantastic. When we are next in Cape Town we will be sure to give Cami a call for a room!

Excellent hospitality offered by host Cami and staff, Tafa and Talent; good facilities and security

Pros: Location central to my needs, relatively easy to access freeways. Superb hospitality, comfort and cleanliness.

Cons: Slightly bigger fridge would have been appreciated.

We did stay again

Pros: As indicated in my previous review, I will stay again. Cami is a lovely host and made our stay as comfortable as possible. The room upgrade was a special bonus for us.

Cons: That the lodge are usually fully booked.

Exceptional stay!

Pros: Everything was perfect! The host was very accommodating and took care of every detail. The accomodation was comfortable and the breakfast were exceptional! Highly recommended!
