We loved our stay and would hope to be back

Pros: Beautiful and peaceful setting with lovely scenery and abundant bird life. Very comfortable cottage, which was well equipped for our weekend getaway. The little restaurant / farm stall serves excellent food and all the staff are wonderful! We loved our stay and hope to be back.

Cons: There is not much we didn’t like about the property, except to say if you wanted a longer stay and to self cater, the fridge is quite small and there is not much cupboard space. However for our purposes of 3 nights it was fine.

Pros: I loved everything. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfast was great and we loved our cottages. Will definitely be back.

gorgeous cabin with the magnificent view

Pros: Beautiful cabin with a magnificent view, specially if you have the one in the first row. Fantastic breakfast in a beautiful greenhouse and super nice management and stuff.

Idyllic gem in the heard of a picturesque valley

Pros: Stunning cottage situated in the heart of a working fruit farm. Stunning views from the veranda which we soaked in as much as we could. A beautiful dam is available for guests to swim in which we took advantage of. Our dog loved it too. We will definitely be back. The coffee shop/ restaurant on the farm serves some of the tastiest meals we have had ain ages, and the surrounding wine farms had lovely tasting.

Cons: Nothing.

A pleasant one night stay to rest & restore.

Pros: I liked the beautiful farm setting. Very tranquil. The cottage was delightful & the bed was comfortable.

Cons: It would’ve been nice to have stayed in the cottage in front of Braeburn Cottage with its beautiful view of surrounding farms & vineyards. Sadly the coffee shop was closed on the Monday we were there.

A fabulous weekend getaway in a gorgeous cottage which exceeded our expectations.

Pros: This accommodation was a real gem. Set in the most idyllic location, the cottage had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and large. The attention to small details was so appreciated including fresh milk and cold water.

Beauty, tranquility, delicious food and a sound nights sleep in one package.

Pros: The location was excellent in the heart of the Elgin Valley, but very accessible. The view from the cottage and especially from the restaurant was beautiful. The decor was charming upmarket cottage style and the beds were super comfortable with top class bedlinen. There were lovely walks among the fruit trees and down to the charming dam. The menu and the quality of the food in the delightful restaurant was excellent. The owners and the staff could not have been more pleasant and friendly.

Cons: Visitors must be aware that this is a country escape for peace and relaxation and not be disappointed that there is no TV . It was wonderful to be without the jangle of world news for a short while!

Good value stay and comfortable accommodation.

Pros: Comfortable bed, fireplace, easy access and good communication.

Cons: The sofa in cottage is not very comfortable.

Beautiful and cozy

Pros: Everything was easy. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the scenery lovely. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was clean. It was the perfect little getaway.

Cons: There was a big pot hole in the gravel road to the cottage, but it wasnt a deal breaker and I understand that we were staying on a farm. After the initial stalling of my car I was aware of it, and it wasn't a problem anymore.

glorious place to hear your heart beat again

Pros: the farm met and exceeded our expectations. we were able to rest in comfortable surroundings and in the warmth of a roaring fire. so much care was taken from providing gluten free rusks to changing room-type with a last minute request. birdsong and morning dew set your heart to love each morning and the farm has enough terrain to fit in a gentle walk on the property.
