Pros: Well located for the wine farms and the wedding we attended. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and owners. Spotless. Good breakfast. Super helpful accommodating my husband who can’t manage stairs

Excellent all round

Pros: Bonita was the perfect hostess - absolutely lovely lady, very warm welcoming and very concerned about your wellbeing. The location was perfect for the occasion we attended but also easy access to so many beautiful wine farms in the area.

Cons: I cannot think of anything negative to say!!

Excellent value and great service

Pros: We really enjoyed the clean room and the air conditioning and the large bathroom. Really nice breakfast with a wonderful view of the mountains and great service. They organized a lift for me to Boschendal so I could attend a function there and the room was generously appointed. Protected off street parking. This is an interesting historical spot outside of Franschhoek and the house itself has an interesting personal history to the owners. Definitely a place I would visit again and I would highly recommend it. Excellent value for money!

Amazing home from home

Homely, comforting and welcoming!

Pros: We spent a night at Lumley's Place while attending a big international event at Hellsend, only 800m down the road. The host was so accommodating, even though we ran into several issues just getting from Cape Town to the guest house. The room was very welcoming and the views were so beautiful! Breakfast was an absolute winner because we had another entire day of activities ahead and everyone knows, a good breakfast just makes the day. The decor of the entire guesthouse was very pretty and homely - our car was safe the entire night and our host made us feel so welcome and comfortable.
