Awesome stay at beautyful lodge with lovely hostess

Pros: Kim is the best possible host and makes you feel very welcome and at home. The villa and the rooms are fantastic and the garden, the pool and the views are awesome. Very quiet and a perfect locstion right at the start of the beautyful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and still close to the centre of Hermanus (10 min by car). We could have easily stayed a week at this lovely guesthouse that makes you feel home away from home... wishing you had a house like this😉

Relaxing short break in a truly luxuriously appointed, spacious home.

Pros: Superb lodge hosted by the owner, Kim, who's fully committed to providing a great experience for her guests. We had a very large studio apartment on the ground floor with its own separate exit directly into the garden. In the common areas - main lounge, breakast terrace etc - it's delightful to mix with other guests but there's plenty of room to 'find your own space' if that's what you prefer. Highly recommended.

What a very special place

Pros: What a very special place to stay! From the moment we arrived, we had the feeling of having come to a „home away from home“. Kim is such a nice and welcoming host with a great eye for interior design. She gave us great tipps on where to go for dinner and we ended up eating at the best places. Our room was beyond spacious with spectacular views of the lush green surrounding gardens. The breakfast was by far one of the best we‘ve had throughout our time in South Africa and we loved sitting at the large family style table while exchanging experiences with the other guests. Actually we were even sad to leave and highly recommend staying at this amazing place! Thank you so much, Kim!

An amazing place.

Pros: The owner took care and an interest in her guests and was very helpful throughout our stay, giving us recommendations for meals etc. The beds are very comfortable and ensure a good nights sleep. The lodge is in a lovely peaceful valley and views at the rear are beautiful.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: It was in a great location, the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had outside of fancy hotels, Kim couldn’t be more helpful and our room was spacious and lovely.

The most wonderful host, location and overall stay. A home away from home.

Pros: Kim was the most wonderful host who made us feel at home straight away. The room was complete luxury with lovely personal touches such as homemade treats to help ourselves to. The property is set in a complete oasis and you enjoy a delicious breakfast listening to the birds and overlooking nature. Kim helped us plan our days and helped with restaurant bookings and completely made our trip to Hermanus. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back for a longer stay next time.
