Smashing!

Pros: Loved everything! We had the best nights sleep of our whole 2 weeks in SA. Sue is such a lovely host - we booked last minute and she was exceedingly warm and welcoming. The place was spotlessly clean and fresh. The pool looked lovely though i didn't get the chance to enjoy it. And she does a smashing breakfast. Brilliant.

Enjoyable & relaxing 2 night stay

Pros: Our second stay at this lovely guesthouse. Great base at which to immediately settle in to home-like environment. Sue very kindly told us we could check-in early as soon as the room had been prepared. After an early start from the airport, this allowed us to drive to Hout Bay to stretch legs and enjoy coffee before depositing bags and freshening up. We caught up with her again at breakfast time and enjoyed chatting with her while she served our breakfast. Guests are served at a big table in the vestibule or there are a couple of tables in the courtyard. Just a few rooms so all feels very friendly & laid back.

A lovely stay in a beautiful guesthouse

Pros: We loved our stay at The Victorian Goose. Sue and her team were absolutely wonderful and the guesthouse was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others

Charming and convenient

Pros: Victorian Goose and its owner, Sue, are both amazing. Claremont is booming as a place to live and socialise, and the B&B is walking distance from many amenities. The place itself is very charming, clean, well-appointed, and benefits from a nice pool. Sue is a ray of sunshine and wonderful host.

Okay for one night, great breakfast.

Pros: Great breakfast, great hostess. Very clean accommodation and secure parking.

Cons: The bed was too small. The window in the bathroom cannot be darkened, and the frosted glass sliding door lets too much light into the sleeping area.
