Carin you have got this down to the “T” it is a perfect venue. Perfect location,

Pros: Absolutely everything. Attention to detail and everything works! The small touches such as an additional bar of soap in the shower, plenty cleaning products and that includes undiluted dishwashing liquid. Plenty Fire lighter , lighters, serviettes, paper towels and a very functional, best hot tub compared to any hot tub I have come across compared to other self catering places. Heats up quickly, is spacious and comfortable. We travel alot and I cannot compliment Fynbosrus enough. Jus outstanding. Great as a working venue / working holiday. Looking forward to a winter stay Cold days, hot tub, mist over the valley a cosy fireplace. Thank you!

Cons: The fact that I had to leave🫠

Pros: This place has everything you need to stay comfortably plus more. I loved everything about this place. Its secluded. Surrounded by mountains and actually felt pretty homely to us

A kol-kol with the best mountain views

Pros: A beautiful setting with simply amazing views. Loved the space with everything you need to relax. The outdoor area was very special with the kol-kol the highlight

It was wonderful. Very comfortable - had everything one needed and a lot of little extras - like tea and coffee and milk

Pros: The openness to nature around you - the views were lovely and you were right on the mountain to go for walks or just enough y the bird life and clean air

Pros: The arrival was smooth and instructions very clear. Views and the house were amazing. Facilities were top quality

Cons: Our stay was too short

Pros: Scenic Location, tranquility, spacious house, good facilities, enough wood on site

Cons: It is advisable to travel in a car that is a SUV or bakkie as the dirt road is steep in some parts and not flat

Peaceful getaway with wonderful views!

Pros: Beautiful views all day, perfect stoep to enjoy the scenery from sunrise to sunset! The remoteness of the cabin allows for a quiet, peaceful getaway but with all the comforts you may need for a 'home away from home' experience. The beds were exceptionally comfy and the electric blankets and indoor fireplace on a cold night were great, the kitchen is fully equipped and the friendly assistance and attention to detail from the host was a brilliant. The accommodation is centrally located with lots to explore in the area, just sad the weather was too rainy for us to make use of the hot tub. Would highly recommend Fynbosrust, would love to visit again and stay longer. Just a side note - the road to the cabin is of good quality even in rainy weather, but since it's quite a bumpy terrain in certain parts (rockface&gravel) a higher rise vehicle would be best.

An absolute gem! The best location and accommodation by far.

Pros: We loved everything. A total gem for an escape into nature, surrounded by mountains, fynbos, and birds. Our host Carin was superb. The cottage has everything you need. The view was outstanding. 20 out of 10.

We had a wonderful stay

Pros: We had a very nice stay, we lacked nothing in the cabin. We enjoyed the seclusion and view and also the communication with the host (Carin) was very attentive and friendly.

This luxury accom is perfect for a relaxed stay with family or friends

Pros: Fynbosrust is an extraordinary luxury selfcatering house with 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. It's like a home faraway from home - fully equipped with all you need and very comfy beds. The views from the deck and the house itself with huge glass fronts are phantastic. This place is for those, who wants to relax and having a pieceful break from hectic life or just want to spend some days with family or friends. Only 2 km away - so walking distance - is the Gin destillery Monks, making also lovely cocktails. We can highly recommend a stay at Fynbosrust!!

Cons: in case you only have a small sedan car the way to Fynbosrust is a bit tricky, but for higher clearance cars it is no problem.
