Pros: The property was well situated for us during our stay at Tuinvrede. The host, Marisa, was extremely accommodating & very friendly. She made recommendations of restaurants nearby and too to showing great concern for me who had to make sure the restaurant I ate were “halal” We checked in at an odd time at night however Marisa was very much okay with the same as well as a late checkout. It was a beautiful property, very spacious, well maintained & designed with decor done by the host which was in great taste. A home away from home indeed.

Cons: Wish we had more time to stay than just 2 nights

Pros: The host was very accommodating and friendly, the property is beautifully decorated- with personal touches from the host.

Cons: The attached property isn’t soundproof , so you hear the other guest’s conversations throughout the night and morning

Would recommend Tuinvrede Guesthouse without hesitation.

Pros: Marisa is a very accommodating host. Our flight was delayed by more than 5 hours and we checked in late and allowed a late check out too! In spite of this Marisa made us feel so welcome! What a wonderful house - immaculately clean, very comfortable and spacious home. We were so sorry not to be able to spend more time there. Ours was a very fleeting visit so we weren’t able to enjoy all the great facilities on offer.

Cons: There was nothing to NOT like 👌

Pros: The property is ideal for a larger family and out of the inner city. Great area around Durbanville. Relatively close to shopping centers and restaurants. Wine farms in the vicinity. The host was great!

Pros: Located in leafy suburb with lovely garden. Beautifully decorated, modern and spacious accommodation. I would love to return in summer to experience the garden properly. Perfect for groups and families too.
