Ashley on Beach Strand

Coastal Haven at Strand.

Pros: Excellent location, close to beach, shops and restaurants. Lovely sea views from the apartment. Ashley and JJ were most helpful and a pleasure to deal with. A great base for trips to Stellenbosch and Hermanus.

Cons: With the windows open , there was a nice draft, but closed it gets very hot. An air conditioner would have made me give it a 10/10. We had a very good stay, non the less.

Great place for a couple of nights stay

Pros: Jeandre met us and we were able to access the apartment early which was much appreciated after a long flight. Good clear instructions re how to get to the apartment block. Very secure entry to block and the immediate area felt safe too. Welll equipped kitchen with tea coffee milk and biscuits - great to have a cup of tea as soon as we arrived :)

Cons: The corridors in the block look a little tired but the flat was spacious and pleasantly decorated

Brilliant location, clean accommodation with a gorgeous view!

Pros: The apartment is stunning inside. Very spacious. We enjoyed the ocean views. The location is perfect. Just a quick walk to the promenade where there are restaurants, a public pool, and of course, the beach. We wanted gorgeous sunsets and we were NOT disappointed.

Cons: Unfortunately, we had heavy wind on our second night and the windows are not \

Comfortable apartment with beautiful sea views

Pros: Apartment is exactly like shown in the photos. Very comfortably equipped with good quality furniture and the kitchen has everything you may need. The wifi is excellent, the beds are extremely comfortable. The added extra of hand-soap, bodywash and shampoo is a lovely touch. Check-in and check-out is very easy. Great communication by host from booking stage right through to departure. The building is very well maintained with excellent security and all the residents were very friendly. The apartment is very conveniently located within easy walking distance to numerous coffee shops and restaurants. Great beach for swimming!

Cons: The bedrooms and lounge get very hot from mid afternoon onwards. All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans that work very well, however on extremely hot days the rooms can be uncomfortably hot. This is however just for a few hours per day and once the sun sets the sea breeze is lovely.

Well located apartment with amazing views

Pros: The apartment was well equipped, spotless and boasted the most amazing view. All check in and check out arrangements were seamless.

Pros: Beautifully situated in an old but well-maintained building.

Cons: There is currently construction working going on in front of the building and also within the building itself. Although it is strictly during office hours this meant that we couldn’t fully use the property as we would have liked to. We do understand that this is beyond the control of the owners, but a heads up would have been nice.
