Gatsby Suite

Pros: The Gatsby suite was excellent, it was a last minute booking, I was not disappointed, it had everything I needed, very comfortable, well appointed, wish I could have stayed longer

Pros: This facility is self-catering, but facilities are comprehensive. There is a full large stove, a microwave oven, toaster, kettle, nespresso machine and even a washing machine. Coffee, tea and milk are provided. The property is spacious, and includes a balcony. The property is situated in a quiet, leafy suburb, and you can sit of the balcony and watch the squirrels running about in the oak trees. There is a catering company operating from the ground floor of the building which will happily provide evening meals if required. The Winelands Mediclinic is within walking distance.

Cons: The property is accessed via a fairly steep flight of stairs. There is a handrail, but if, as in our case, you are going to the nearby Winelands Mediclinic for hip or knee surgery, this could be a problem.

Great weekend stay!

Pros: Really had a great stay, in a great location! Met with Antoinette upon arrival, and she was able to give recommendations of wine farms to visit. Was also allowed a slightly later checkout, which was much appreciated. The suite has everything needed, and the coffee, rusks and milk were a nice little treat. We will be back.

Pros: The extra thought put into the place was so awesome. From the ice in the freezer until cookies, were such a welcomed surprise.

Pros: The little touches like milk in the fridge, coffee and quirky decor. Owner living in adjoining property very friendly, and even a catering company downstairs that we could have used.

Cons: Very little. It is not walking distance from centre

We had a great stay in this beautifully decorated unit. The host was very friendly. Will visit again

Pros: The property is spacious with 2 verandas and the pool / braai area, host was very friendly and helpful. The unit is beautifully decorated and have everything you might need. We took a short trip to many first class wine estates. Lovely restaurants nearby.

A delightful surprise!

Pros: The Gatsby Suite is a charming little sanctuary, upstairs in a secure property on a quiet, tree lined street in a residential area close to hospitals and basic shops - though close enough by car to the bustle of town. The low-key, quirky \

Cons: The TV was really small and didn't seem to work well enough for one of us who had really wanted to watch an important rugby match. But we accept there may well have been a streaming option if we could have worked it out! Some may find the shower-in-the-bath arrangement a bit clumsy.
