Lucano 1 Stellenbosch

Pros: Quiet, safe location. The room was modern and well equipped.. Hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming, Will definitely stay there again.

Good value for money, Beautiful accommodation.

Pros: The accommodation was spectacular, well positioned for our need to visit local wine farms. The room was comfortable with lots of extra's. We had access to a braai and all utensils. Will recommend this accommodation and will use it again in the future.

Cons: Everything was brilliant.

Lovely little place!

Pros: I liked everything about this little place. It was a great base for my daughter and I to explore Stellenbosch and surrounds. The room was clean and comfortable and so was the bed. We slept very well. The kitchenette had everything one needs to prepare basic meals and hot drinks. There was even a bit of milk in the fridge. The room is cozy and small and there isn’t much space for luggage, but this wasn’t an issue for us. The neighbourhood is very green and quiet. One day, several families were outside playing with their children on the street, which was so nice to see. Entering the place was very easy and communication seamless.

Cons: There was a bit of communication around the parking situation, which gave me a lot of anxiety, but in the end it all worked out and I was happy to park on the street.

Alethea was a great host, our stay was very cosy and wonderful. Would recommend her and Lucano 1 a thousand times!

A gem in Stellenbosch

Pros: Decor was fabulous. Host was thoughtful. Ironing and iron plus hairdryer provided. All basics were included, ie; correct plugs, mozzie prevention, enough tea and milk, private entrance. Attention to clients requirements. Bed was very comfortable. Outside seating area was cute and cozy. I had a special request during the week and the host provided it with no issues.

Cons: Everything was great. For our length of stay, a few extra shelves for our clothes and toiletries perhaps? But for shorter stays these won't be necessary.

Pros: We loved the quiet area, the comfy bed, the aircon, the outside seating.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay

Pros: Nice little place with parking on the premises. Slept very well. Smelt lively and clean.

Cons: A little remote but no reflection on the property. It is entirely my fault for thinking it was closer to town centre. Would still recommend Lucano 1 as taxis are plentiful to get into town for restaurants.
