Genuine local hospitality in tranquil location

Pros: The host, Katrin, is fantastic. She gives genuine local hospitality with recommendations for excursions that became the highlights of our trip. The location is tranquil - can walk to coastal path. The cottage has everything you need - even a clothes washing machine and air fryer!

More Than We Bargained For

Pros: The garden cottage was private with a seperate entrance. The garden was lovely, and had braai facilities, which we enjoyed thoroughly. The cottage itself is spacious, and the kitchen was kitted really well, with a dish washer, washing machine, air fryer, induction plate, and various pieces of cutlery and crockery for a family's catering needs. It's a short distance from a cliff path next to the sea, and a shop close by. The neighborhood is quiet, and is the perfect spot for a getaway. We were playing Jenga outside after enjoying our dinner, and our noise levels accidentally got a bit out of hand, and we set the neighbors' dog off. I hope we didn't bother them too much! We quickly reigned ourselves back in, and enjoyed a peaceful evening further. The beds are super comfortable, and we slept like logs. The hosts were lovely, friendly and gave good advice on the best place to go whale watching. We will definitely book this place again!

Cons: The hot water tap by the kitchen sink took a really long time to warm up, but that didn't really bother us too much.

Pros: The location was perfect. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They did let us feel so comfortable. They did help us to make choices where to visit in die surroundig areas.Excellent hosts. Excellent cottage. Will come back for sure.

Genoten in Vermont!

Pros: Het was een leuk huis vlakbij de zee! De gastvrouw is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zo nodig ook altijd bereikbaar als je iets wilde vragen e.a. Wasmachine en vaatwasser was ook erg fijn.

Cons: Het was jammer dat de kinderkamer niet door muren (maar door rolgordijn) afgescheiden was van de keuken en huiskamer. Ook rook het muffig in het huis en dan vooral in de Ouder slaapkamer. Je kon je kleding niet in de kast hangen hierdoor. We hebben dit opgelost door het in onze koffers te houden en deze iedere keer dicht te doen.
