Hermanus 2025 visit

Pros: Location is great! Loved the view from the balcony and the special touch from the host having a nice bottle of wine with cheeses to snack on. Our trip was more of an out and about vacay and we were looking for that spot to crash after our daily wanderings and this was ideal.

Cons: Older people might have difficulties with stairs.

A wonderful, warm and relaxing environment, great location. Value for money and worth the visit.

Pros: The host was exceptionally warm and welcoming. The facilities are great and the location / proximity to town, exceptional. The view towards the mountain is lovely and the kitchen well equipped.

Cons: We expected two bathrooms as per the Bookings.com site ad, but there was only one bathroom/shower room and an additional toilet - which came as a surprise. The second bedroom faces the main road which was very busy and may affect some visitors (I am from a city so it did not bug me in the least, in fact I slept like a log :-).

Pros: I loved the classic old Hermanus style charm, big comfy beds, fluffy towels, and a well equipped modern kitchen. Also, the gorgeous bottle of crisp dry rose, homemade rusks and farm bread were a lovely treat.

Wonderful Breakaway

Pros: The attention to detail was amazing from the wonderful welcome basket, filled with Easter treats to the comfy couches and crisp clean linen. The finishes in the villa are modern, sleek and well maintained. We had 2 Chefs in our party and the kitchen was a complete delight to cook and work in with excellent equipment and finishes. The host went over and above to help and assist when needed and Villa Voigt is definitely on our list of \

Cons: Absolutely nothing - the hosts make sure you are well aware of what you need to be and everything about the Villa, property and surrounds are wonderful.
