Absolute value for money. The most relaxing stay with the friendliests staff ever.

Pros: The host went out of her way to accommodate our request to access the premises earlier. We could use the swimming pool and braai area while getting rhe cottage ready for us.

Cons: No complaints at all.

Pleasant quick stay over!

Pros: We had a lovely one night stay in La Galiniere. The actual property is beautiful and cottages were spacious. The complementary bottle of wine in the cottages were a nice touch (and tasted good too!). The location is pretty central in franschoek and walking distance to the wine tram.

Cons: The cottages are a little outdated inside but does mot make or break the stay.

Cons: No aircon, Fans broken (only one speed, no swing, no timer)

Pros: Everything was just perfect, from the views to the friendliness of the staff. Can't fault anything, stayed there many years ago and still as amazing as back then.

Pros: Location, easy access. Comfy. Bed linen was new and clean

Cons: Towels could be replaced. Can see they were washed but they were old to the point of going brown/grey. Pool could do with some cleaning

Kind and helpful host

Pros: Our host, Rietha, was very kind and accommodating. She patiently waited for us for a very late arrival, because of an emergency we had in Cape Town. She also helped us jump start our car the next morning.

Excellent place to staty

Pros: Excellent location, just on the outskirts of Franschhoek proper, on the main road. The property felt very secure, and was spacious, with DSTV Satellite TV. The property was clean, with a decent kitchen,

Cons: We couldn't get the log burning fire to light properly, though that may have been the wood. The lack of an en-suite bathroom for the master beroom is also a slight negative.
