Pros: The big private dam was the highlight. We spent the afternoon swimming and lying in the sun.

Cons: The only downside was that the hot tub was too filthy to use and we don’t have much time to ask for it to be cleaned.

A stunning sanctuary in the beautiful Franschhoek valley.

Pros: A beautiful property in a stunning location. Wonderful to sit out on the veranda and soak up the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards with a glass of bubbles. Great facilities in the room and comfortable bed. Excellent customer service, we felt very spoilt. Lovely breakfast at David’s overlooking the Sanctuary.

Cons: The cumbersome air conditioning unit by the bed.

Pros: The tranquility and the quietness of the accommodation was really something we appreciated after coming from capetown where it was bustling! It also had a fully equipped kitchen and hottub!

Cons: It got a bit warm as it was peak of summer so sometimes being indoors was difficult, but still cooler than outside 42 degrees!

Pros: Beautiful property on the wine farm which you feel like you have all to yourself, peaceful and the accomodation is beautiful with everything you need

Cons: We visited during the summer and the room gets very hot as there is no AC, they brought us an extra fan which helped.

Pros: Absolutely everything. The scenery was out of this world. The facility is fully prepared for anything you may need. Staff are so friendly and helpful throughout even on weekends

Cons: The rooms can get quite hot during the nights so would recommend if possible to have AC rather than fans

Very well equipped cottage with a huge bed and bathroom.

Pros: The huge bed is awesome! And the bathroom is very large, with a hot tub and really good shower. The kitchenette is equipped very well and they have a portafilter coffee machine. We had an issue with the sink and they sent someone immediately (at almost 10pm) that tried to fix it. He had to come again the next day, but then it was resolved.

Cons: The sink is tiny compared to the huge bathroom and is not so comfortable to use (very short tap).
